NEET Expectation
Students appearing for NEET are expected to possess the following criteria s,
Students must secure minimum marks of 50% in their 10+2 standard in chemistry, physics, and botany/zoology from any recognized board. (Students seeking reservation category are provided 10% relaxation( must secure 40% marks in class 12th )
The age limit for NEET aspirants is 17 – 25 years. ( For SC /ST candidates, the age limit is up to 30 years).

NEET Examination
NEET is is an offline mode examination(I.e) pen & paper-based examination.
It consists of 180 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) for 720 marks for 3 hours based on Physics(45 questions), Chemistry ( 45 questions) & Biology (90 questions).
It is conducted in 11 languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Oriya, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Kannada, Assamese, and Gujarati.
How to Apply for NEET?
- Aspirants should register online with their valid email Id, phone number & date of birth).
- Once registration is done, need to upload the necessary documents along with the application form.
- The registration fee is to be paid.
- Need to take a print copy of the confirmation receipt.
- Admit cards will be available in the portal before the examination. Need to take a print copy.
NEET Syllabus
NEET Syllabus will cover Physics, Chemistry & Biology from Grades 11 &12.
- The physics syllabus comprises the Physical world & Measurement, Kinematics, Work Energy & Power, Motion of System of Particles & Rigid Body, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Atoms & nuclei, Optics, Electromagnetic waves, Magnetic effects of current & magnetism, electrostatics & Current electricity.
- The chemistry syllabus comprises some basic concepts of chemistry, Chemical bonding & Molecular structure, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Coordination Compounds, Organic Chemistry: Basic principle & Techniques., P, D, F S- Block elements, Environmental chemistry, Polymers, Isolation of Elements, Hydrocarbons & Bio-molecules.
- The biology syllabus comprises diversity in the living world, a structural organization in animals & plants, Cell structure & Function, Plant Physiology, Genetics & Evolution, Biology & Human welfare, Biotechnology and its applications, Ecology & Environment, Reproduction, and Human Physiology.

- Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended – Original only
- Eligibility Certificate issued by the Registrar, Nitte (Deemed to be University)
- Migration Certificate from the Board/University of the institution last attended (For Non-Karnataka students)
- Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
- Blood group certificate.
- Photographs: Recent color photo with white background, of resolution 300-600 dpi & size 35mm X 45 mm (Passport size) & 20mm X 25mm (Stamp size).
- Aadhar card copy of the student.
- Eligibility certificate from Rajive Gandhi University of Health Sciences Karnataka(For Non-Karnataka students) only for private medical colleges.
Seat allocation in preferred colleges will be based on merit basis.
