Government Dental College [GDC] is among the first few dental colleges in India and the first dental college in Karnataka.
It was established in the year 1958 to provide a world-class education to dental students attached to Victoria Hospital located at K.R. Market, Bangalore.
The college was granted autonomy by the Government of Karnataka in 2007 and renamed as Government Dental College and Research Institute [GDCRI].
